Do you have a recipe that tastes like the Kraft Mac and Cheese sauce? I am going to make it as asap and serve some up to my son, who also misses pasta noodles because he has been doing the low carb lifestyle also and dropped over 85 lbs~ OK, so I admit it.I want my Mac and Cheese to taste like Kraft and not some lovely gourmet cheese sauce with 5 cheeses. This time I am going for old-fashioned comfort food and want that intense salty, cheesy flavor. OK, so I admit it.I want my Mac and Cheese to taste like Kraft and not some lovely gourmet cheese sauce with 5 cheeses. This topic is now archived and is closed to further replies.

She's eating now and then to the orthodontist and then practice. I can't seem to get down the dual wave bolus. I find mac and cheese lasts a long time in her system. We can't use easy mac, her #'s go completely out of control. I weigh out 100g of cooked mac and cheese and bolus 25 g of carb. Maybe people who are on the pump can give you some of that fancy-schmancy "square wave/dual wave" advice that would help. What I'd probably do in your shoes is try 20 carbs/1/2 cup, test her at two hours, and be prepared to give her a small snack if it looks like she's going low. We usually use the Easy Mac individual packets, so it's a little different, but I haven't noticed that I have to vary from the carb count on the box for those (42 carbs/serving). We do have better results with Annies mac n' cheese. It seems that the pasta just sits in her gut a lot longer than most other foods. I've found that a 40/60 over 2.5 hrs works best. Then, I will do a combo bolus because she goes low. Any suggestions? Thanks! I use 24g for 1/2 cup serving. The last time my daughter had the mac & cheese, I used the same thing and she was high. So we had been using 15 carbs per 1/2 cup. I know when I use the carb count from a box of spaghetti, she goes way low. (70g/about 1/3 box) (Makes about 1 cup) Carbs 48g.
I don't know if I've not had enough caffeine today, but I'm not getting what they have printed on the box! It says: Serving size 2.5 oz. I'm wondering what everyone uses for the carb count for Kraft Mac & Cheese. By continuing to use this site, you are agreeing to our use of cookies. Using the skim milk, prepare macaroni and cheese according to package instructions, but omit margarine. Cook over low heat while preparing macaroni and cheese. Stir in barbecue sauce, onion, and pepper.
And since the sauce is naturally gluten-free, why ruin a good thing? I used Banza pasta which is made from chickpeas so I get 2x the protein, 4x the fiber and the confidence knowing that it’s produced in a dedicated gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free, egg-free, and nut-free facility. Speaking of pasta, now is the time to add your favorite cooked pasta to our sauce! Use whatever shape you like but I love using shells! There’s just something about how all that cheesy goodness fills the cavity of each shell, making every bite more magical.
